Q1: What’s the difference between EP760 and EP600?
A: EP760 is a single-phase energy storage system with a max output of 7600W (230V), perfect for households with a single-phase system; while EP600 delivers a three-phase output of 6000W (400V) and a single-phase output of up to 2000W (230V), designed for households with three-phase appliances.
-
Q2: Is EP760 an off-grid system?
A: EP760 can be installed both on-grid and off-grid depending on your needs.
-
Q3: What does the 10-year warranty cover?
A: BLUETTI guarantees that with proper use as outlined in the user manual, each battery pack will achieve a minimum aggregate energy throughput of 15,48MWh during the warranty period.
-
Q4: Does the 10-year warranty policy apply to the fans and WiFi modules?
A: No. The warranty for the fans and WiFi modules is 24 months.
-
Q5: What is the noise level of the EP760?
A: Less than 50dB.
-
Q6: How can I recharge the EP760?
A: You can recharge it via your rooftop solar panels or home grid.
-
Q7: Can I charge the EP760 via solar and grid power simultaneously?
A: Yes. The EP760 accepts solar and AC charging simultaneously, with a maximum input of 9kW. Note that the system always prioritizes solar charging.
-
Q8: Can the EP760 prioritize solar power usage?
A: Yes, the EP760 has an intelligent energy management system that allows you to customize charging and discharging times, as well as the SoC limits via the BLUETTI App, to maximize the use of solar energy and minimize your electricity bills.
-
Q9: Can I program the EP760 to charge and discharge according to my energy usage patterns and needs?
A: Yes, you can set a charging and discharging schedule in the BLUETTI App.
-
Q10: Can the EP760 be used with battery packs other than the B500, such as the B300, B300S, or B230?
A: No, the EP760 only works with B500 battery packs.
-
Q11: I already have a PV system and inverter at home, can I install the EP600?
A: Yes, you can. Please tell me the power and voltage of your existing PV system, as well as the power and voltage of the inverter, and we will provide you with a suitable solution.
-
Q12: What is the weight capacity of each B500?
A: Over 441 lbs/200kg, meaning that an EP760 + 4*B500 combo can be stacked vertically, saving you plenty of space.
-
Q13: Can I install the EP760 unit by myself?
A: No, the system must be installed by a licensed electrician. We have a network of authorized installers available to offer professional local installation services for your convenience.
-
Q14: Are the EP760 and B500 water-resistant?
A: Yes, they are rated IP65 that provides protection against water and dust.
-
Q15: Is the EP760 risky or prone to catching fire?
A: The EP760 is designed with a strong focus on safety and reliability. However, it's crucial to follow specific precautions to guarantee its long-term performance and safety. Please keep the device away from heat sources like heaters or open flames, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, and prevent severe impacts or contact with chemicals. Please note that any accidents resulting from these situations are not covered by the warranty.
-
Q16: Does BLUETTI offer product liability insurance for its products?
A: Yes, we have purchased third-party product liability insurance worldwide.
-
Q17: Does EP760 support DC coupling or AC coupling?
A: Yes. However, it’s recommended to prioritize DC coupling since it’s more efficient and can be used during outages. The EP760 has three MPPT channels; each handles up to 3.000W solar input via DC coupling and supports a voltage range of 150V-500V and a maximum working current of 12,5A.
-
Q18: Can I use installed solar panels and inverter together with the EP760?
A: Yes. EP760 works with existing solar systems via AC coupling in an on-grid installation but it’s not available if installed off-grid and when there is an outage. If your current inverter is aging and can't be repaired, EP760 can replace your malfunctioning inverter via DC coupling.
-
Q19: Is it necessary to ground the EP760 unit?
A: Yes, grounding the EP760 unit is necessary for safety reasons and proper functionality.
-
Q20: Can I install more than 4 B500 battery packs?
A: No. EP760 accepts 2-4 B500 batteries for now.
