FAQS
-
Q1: Is the AC60 power station waterproof ?
A:
No, the AC60 isn't waterproof. However, it has an IP65 rating to protect it from water splashes and dust.
-
Q2: What does the IP65 rating mean?
A:
The IP or Ingress Protection Rating measures how resistant a device is to solids and water. The first digit of the rating indicates the level of protection of the enclosed device against the intrusion of foreign objects, such as dust, tools, or fingers. The second digit represents the protection level against moisture intrusion. And the IP65 rating means that the AC60 is protected from total dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction.
-
Q3: How fast can I charge the AC60?
A:
The AC60 supports a maximum input of 600W. Plug it into a wall outlet, turn on the Turbo Charging mode on the BLUETTI App, and you can charge it up in 1,2-1,7 hours.
-
Q4: What's the difference between Silent, Standard, and Turbo Charging modes?
A:
These are the AC charging modes of the AC60. Each mode has a different input power and charging time, as shown in the table below. While the Silent charging mode is the quietest, with a noise level of no more than 45dB.
Charging Mode Input Power Charging Time Silent 160W 3-3,5 hrs Standard 255W 2,1-2,6 hrs Turbo 600W 1,2-1,7 hrs -
Q5: What kind of solar panels should I choose for AC60?
A:
Please refer to the following requirements:
1. Total open circuit voltage: 12-28V
2. Max. input power: 200W
3. Equipped with MC4 connectors.
If your panel has an Anderson connector, please purchase Anderson to MC4 cable, separately.
You can click here to buy Anderson to MC4 cable.
Highly Recommended:
1× BLUETTI PV120: ≈ 3,9-4,3 hrs*.
1× BLUETTI PV200: ≈ 2,5-3 hrs*.

-
Q6: Why is the charging power often too low?
A:
AC60 has a built-in intelligent BMS that automatically adjusts the charging power in response to the battery temperature and SoC, thus protecting the battery and extending its service life.
-
Q7: Can it charge and discharge at the same time ?
A:
Yes.
-
Q8: How do I know whether my devices will work well with this product?
A:
Please evaluate the total constant load of your devices. If it doesn't exceed the Max. output power of AC60 (600W), you can use this power station to run your devices.
Note: Some devices with built-in motor/compressor may start at 2-4 times the rated power, which can easily overload the AC60.
-
Q9: What is Power Lifting Mode?
A:
In this mode, the AC60 can run high-power heating devices up to 1.200W, such as space heaters, hair dryers, electric irons, etc.
Do NOT use this unit to run an air conditioner or washing machine.
-
Q10: How long can it run my device ?
A:
The AC60 has different running times depending on the device you're using it with. For high-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ load power. For low-power devices, the running time = Battery capacity × DoD × η ÷ (load power + self-consumption of AC60).
DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is local inverter efficiency.
For AC60, DoD is 90%, η is 90%, and self-consumption is about 10W.
E.g. If you run a 100W blender light with it, the running time will be:
403Wh × 90% × 90% ÷ (100W+10W) ≈ 3,0 hrs
Note:
1) The formula is NOT suitable for inductive loads with compressors, like refrigerators, air conditioners, etc.
2) The above data is for reference ONLY.
-
Q11: Can I use or charge AC60 in sub-zero temperatures?
A:
You can use the AC60 to power your devices in cold weather, but please avoid recharging it below freezing.
The operating temperature ranges for AC60 are:
Charging: 0℃-40℃/32℉-104℉
Discharging: -20°C~40°C(-20°C~30°C: 600W Max.; 30°C~40°C: 500W Max.)
-4°F~104°F(-4°F~86°F: 600W Max.; 86°F~104°F: 500W Max.) -
Q12: Is it possible to replace the built-in battery?
A:
No. If the internal battery pack malfunctions or is dead, please contact BLUETTI Customer Service.
-
Q13: How to store the AC60 when not in use?
A:
The AC60 should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated place and recharged to 80% every 3-6 months.
-
Q14: Can I use the AC60 as a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)?
A:
Yes.
