Solar Panel Comparison

Both of the solar panels are designed for permanent install with slight differences. Rigid panel is made with glass finishing, it is heavier in weight. Flexible light panel has ETFT + EVA finishing to make it more durable, it is light weight with only 7,5kg but solar yield is lower.

    The rated output power of the system is up to 800W, if higher power draw required, power will automatically draw from the grid to make up the difference.

    Yes. The System is compatible with any solar panels with 12V-60V Open Circuit Voltage.

  • Q8: Do I have to buy an entire system?
    A:

    No. You can choose not to purchase batteries and instead only buy components such as solar panels and microinverters to create a simple balcony PV system. However, the corresponding PV system without storage function may not save as much electricity as the complete version of the balcony PV system with storage.

  • Q9: Can I use other BLUETTI power stations or batteries with the Balcony Solar System?
    A:

    No.

  • Q10: What is the difference between flexible and glass solar panels?
    A:

    The flexible solar panel is lighter, yet it has lower input power than the glass solar panel. However, flexible solar panel has an IP67 rating, while glass solar panel has an IP68 rating to resist water and dust, and can withstand strong winds. Please refer to the specs to find out the best option that's right for you.
